I loved that the book has ideas with different levels of skills so that both of my kids were able to have fun with it. I also like that there is a mess-o-meter which helps me decide if I am up to dealing with the after math ;). We used sunflower butter , her favorite, and she laughed the whole time she made them. I am going to buy a second book so she will have one here and at her house for twice the fun! Some of the projects were difficult, I thought, such as the banana and chocolate slices. The chocolate was messy and it was hard to integrate the pretzels underneath. They immediately dove into it and started on the crafts. My six year old can read it independently and loves the book! Super duper recommend for ages 6-10 independent or under 6 with help. They are 2 & 5, it has been super easy to tailor the recipes to their abilities and tastes. All the recipes have photos as well so they are able to flip through the pages and choose the recipes they want on their own (since they can't read).
